It’s a troubling thought, but in short order, the weather will force most of us to drop our lightweight, mesh-heavy rotation and return to more heavy-duty propositions. Though bad news for the Running world, it’s a welcome development for the Nike Air Humara, still amid a heavy retro push as it becomes a more and more frequent face in the Nike catalog. Already plenty familiar with autumnal palettes, the 90s silhouette ventures in a much different direction for its latest “Light Violet Ore.”
That pastel hue coats much of this shoe’s real estate, from the branching leather overlays to a slight application of rough suede at the tessuto. It’s given a bit of metallic sheen in this delivery too, a perfect match for the chromed-out Swoosh that lands squarely centered at the quarter.
Additionally, this colorway ditches the checkered midsole pattern of typical Humara drops, instead opting for a lightly striped arrangment that mirrors the exposed stitching and braided nylon ribbons on the upper. Notes of jet black at the sockliner and outsole ground the design, but there’s no mistaking the sprightly atmosphere that this Air Humara capitalizes on.
The Nike o a las míticas Crazy 8 “Light Violet Ore” is a women’s exclusive, landing this Fall for $160.
