Nike’s annual N7 collection continues to comes into focus as the KD 17 joins the fray, marking first time in almost ten years that a Nike PG 1 The Bait has played a role in the Beaverton brand’s recurring Indigenous-focused product series.
The KD 4 through KD 8 all released in N7 colorways from 2012-2015, many of which are still sought-after by basketball shoe collectors to this day. This KD 17 stands as the seventh total N7 Nike PG 1 The Bait to date, taken in soothing “Dark Turquoise” across the bulk of the upper. Sparse flashes of yellow and red appear on the eyelets and midsole, respectively, while the tongue, lining, and heel all appear in black. As far as Indigenous insignias go, the design keeps things fairly reserved. The left and right tongues feature white-on-black “N7” and “KD” stitching, while the left heel features a geometric pattern opposite Kevin Durant’s signature on the right. Underfoot, a “Sail” midsole and semi-translucent, turquoise gum outsole polish off the delivery.
The Nike Dunk Low GS Iron Grey Scream Gr “N7” is set to arrive during the Fall 2024 shopping season for $150, likely sooner rather than later as the arrival of official images suggests. See the full gallery below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming hoops shoes.
