The Nike Nike Waffle Black One has already begun dressing for cold weather with waterproof materials and Cordura fabrics, but any black-dominant colorway stands out as a season-appropriate option. Following images of the black and red Nike Waffle Black One “Vamps” the other day, the Beaverton brand swatches “Vintage Green” onto another stealthy pair.
Color blocking takes a standard approach, with the titular hue pasted onto the Swoosh, backtab, outsole, and tongue branding. Otherwise, the upper and midsole come painted in black in an arrangement that’s as timeless as ever. Given the impactful yet simple color blocking at play, it’s possible Nike has more like-minded options in its chamber.
