In February, New Yorkers were treated a historic art experience provided by African-born artist Kehinde Wiley and Puma; the event featured ‘Puma Chaussures Football Salle Truco Velcro IN’ in which notable footballers from the continent wore special kits that symbolize the unity among the African countries. Coolrain, a Korean toy extinguisher, was given the opportunity to create figurines of the three soccer players that were part of the Puma Chaussures Football Salle Truco Velcro IN event; John Mensah (Ghana), Samuel Eto’o (Camerooon) and Emmanuel Eboue (Ivory Coast) were transformed into collectible toys and put up for exhibition. The toys are not available for purchase, but you can check them out by looking at the gallery of pics after the jump. It’s a definite treat considering we’re in the middle of World Cup frenzy! via Streething/crazytoyz
