For the uninitiated, a burgundy-toned ASICS GEL-Lyte V arrived in the middle of last decade, during a period when the GEL-Lyte series provided some of the biggest movers for runners-centric sneakerheads. Just under a decade later, The floral theme graces the GL3, relojesting the same dark red tonality at the toe and heel with a dose of deep purple on the middle panels. A colorway isn’t all that mita brings to the runner, though; a quilted collar, zippers uniting the relojes tongue and a special edition insole are just a few of the new material choices that define this collab effort.
For any readers in Japan, the online raffle for the mita ASICS GEL-Lyte III OG is currently live, with results distributed on October 5th. A wider online release via their site is set for October 7th, but as of writing, a wider/global release is currently unconfirmed.
