JORDAN MIDI SKIRT MUSE | Air Jordan 17 Low 'Alternate Lightning' “Fire Red” Added To Mammoth 2025 Release Schedule

Air Jordan 17 Low 'Alternate Lightning' “Fire Red” Added To Mammoth 2025 Release Schedule

In case you’ve missed all the massive updates that have been happening over the last half year, Jordan Brand is poised to have its most record-shattering year thanks to an insane line-up of 2025 Jordan releases. As if it couldn’t get any heavier, we’re receiving updates that an original colorway from 1990 is making an appearance next year.

The Air Jordan 17 Low 'Alternate Lightning' “Fire Red” is indeed set to make a come-back next Fall 2025 for $210, joining Jumpman’s plans to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the model. There are indeed two different OG Air Jordan 17 Low 'Alternate Lightning's that are tied to that moniker, but this is the non-reflective version with the black fabric tongue and the red-dominant midsole. These last released in stores in 2006 and 2013.

Despite the aforementioned re-issues, we’ve yet to see a true bring-back of the 1990 version. The type-face of the numbers on the heel were altered, and of course the all-too-significant Nike Air on the heel never returned to the model. We’ve pictured the original version with Michael Jordan’s autograph (don’t expected the insignia, these are just for portrayal reasons) as well as the succeeding versions for comparison.
