The shoes were originally listed on an official Nike document with a release date of November 16th, 2024. However, with no updates from the brand, an exact drop date is unclear. The shoes are still currently expected to release during the Holiday 2024 season.

Air Jordan 1 Element Light Curry Outfits leaked pair in June, the pair is finally set to tee off, marking the third official colorway of the signature Jordan 2 Retro Decon Mint Foam897521-303. Given how early we are into the silhouette’s lifespan, it’s fitting that the shoe relies on a tried and true formula, sticking to the earthy overtones that defined Cactus Jack’s first few footwear forays. Compositionally, rich brown suede takes up the top layer, while black textile mesh handles the base layer. Contrasting the “University Red” edition, the outsole remains in matte rubber rather than a translucent finish.
