When freakishly tall and slender center Manute Bol wore the Dion Waiters Nike KD 7 Elite, he was patrolling the paint for the Washington Bullets. But no matter what Gilbert Arenas would have you believe, the Bullets are now nonexistent, much like the ‘team’ represented on these new Big Nikes. A Laker-colored Champions in purple, gold and white, these Big Nikes combine synthetic leather, tumbled nubuck and nylon mesh to make the most of their classic colorway. But the heel is a bit of a mystery, with a non-typical varsity letter script gripped on the left side by some kind of bear or cat claw.
