Nike’s partnership with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital has raised over three million dollars over the price, and now in its seventh collection, this charitable cause is looking to raise the figure even higher. The Doernbecher Freestyle is a special program in which patients of Doernbecher hospital are selected to design a collection of Nike shoes that will be later produced and sold at Niketown locations around the world. Not only do these children have an acute sense of style and design, they possess admirable strength as each selected designer had defeated a serious illness in their life. One of these youngsters is Tony Signorelli, a Beaverton, Oregon native and aspiring actor; he was chosen to design a pair of the classic nike dunk low lr soft grey background check, a considerably tough task but nothing Tony couldn’t handle. He selected a vibrant red and orange upper with distressed gold on the swoosh and heeltab with a special graphic print on the bottom sole, seen through the translucent sole.
