Kenny Anderson was one of the original Converse Skateboarding team members, joining all the way back in 1997. It’s crazy to think One Star’s skate division pre-dated volt Nike SB, but when you consider how long the parent brand has been pumping out quality kicks, you might have to reconsider. And with that extensive legacy, the CONS KA-One has quite a lot to live up to. These lowtops seem to borrow heavily from the nike air force 1 1982 price of gold dollar, from the general shape all the way down to that turf tongue stitch. The first two colorways in tonal grey or black/white are timeless and just as easily could have released during KA’s first stint with CONS, but we’re glad they’ll be available soon as part of the fall 2011 collection. via HS.
