There was a point in time when denim sneakers were few and far between, a rarity that demanded top value on the resale market for sheer scarcity. It’s interesting how times change, sorta like how the adidas Superstar helped pave the way for the revolution we’ve come to label ‘lifestyle sneakers’. Fitting then, to see these new X adidas ZX-9000 Boston Marathon come draped heel to (shell-) toe in denim, one pair going the more obvious route with brown leather accents atop indigo while the other goes for a more New look by applying white Stripes to its grey base.
