Asics’ flagship runner, the Gel Kayano is on its 17th (!) release this year, but the brand’s most popular retro model reached its peak three years in. The Asics Gel Lyte III is one of those quirky classic designs that deserves to see a million colorways, its split tongue and triple-density cushioning system having carved out a distinct niche over the years. Pictured above are two new drops for the dictionary season, one that offers an un-OG look with its tonal green-on-white look plus another that offers a vague nod to a model that released the same year as the original GLIIIs, the ‘Infrared’ Nike Air Max 90. These popped up at a few locations last month but if you missed your chance to grab one check out the stock currently available from CrookedTongues.
