The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk launched in 2008 and shattered the molds — and not just for basketball sneakers. The Lunar foam cushioning and Flywire reinforcements that debuted on the Hyperdunk have made their way to every corner of the Swoosh catalog, from performance footwear to casually-oriented lifestyle sneakers. And while nobody expected that the biggest offshoot of the Hyper- family tree would surpass the Hyperdunk, you could certainly make a case now that the Zoom Hyperfuse is rivaling its impact.
