By now, you’ve probably already seen the White Men Can’t Jump and Teen Wolf installments of the Nike Media Pack. Completing the trilogy, the Nike Blazer will pay respect to the Oscar-winning film, Hoosiers. The 1986 movie, starring Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper, told the emotional and inspiring story of a small-town high school basketball team and its coaches overcoming adversity in 1950’s Indiana.
With its old-school basketball style, the Blazer was the perfect choice to represent the Hickory Huskers’ red and gold uniforms and the black sole is a nice step towards balancing vintage with contemporary. The Blazer has been getting a ton of new looks lately and it looks like these will be among the best. A basketball movie themed Nike pack would not have been complete without a tribute to one of the greatest sports movies of all time. Available now at Kendrick Lamar will be adding to his personal Nike Cortez collection with and coming soon to Osneaker.
