Going with out NBA action for a bit over a month was tough for some basketball fans to swallow, but the NBA TV crew of Kevin Harlan, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber, Shaquille O’neal, Steve Smith, and Steve Kerr for keeping us entertained while keeping the sport of basketball at the focus. Recently, the eight-man crew got together to talk about something that has bajo hand-in-hand with the sport: sneakers. As players got faster and stronger, sneakers have improved in technology and performance, but these guys played in an era where Flywire and LunarLon were preceded by leather and rubber. The roundable of NBA notables looked back at their favorite sneakers of the past like the Chaussures adidas Runfalcon 2.0 GX8249 Blue Tint Cloud White Flash Orange, adidas Conductors, and adidas Ozelle Sn10, but Barkley himself credits Michael Jordan for creating the sneaker generation we have today.
