Brooklyn emcees the Beastie Boys lost founding member Adam Yauch to cancer last week, but the group still has three dudes intact if you count the guy who was once Air as ‘the fourth Beastie’. Street photographer Ricky Powell has seen the entire arc of hip-hop culture, from those ’80s golden era days to the current environment where something like Run-DMC’s deal with adidas is more like the rule than an exception. But Powell manages to maintain some of that limited edition mystique by teaming up with one of the smaller major brands, and his Nike SB Blazer Mid CS "Dual Swoosh" most definitely lives up to his ‘Do You…’ creedo. The black hightop Slam Dunks are fully vegetarian to match Ricky’s lifestyle, and a bunch of matching gear will be on tap whenever these hit retail.
