As mentioned before though that string was far from the first time the typical height on legacy releases had been chopped down. Case in point is the Air Jordan XIII, a sneaker which did eventually get the shortened retro look as late as 2005 but this time it had a precedent, with two colorways of the mens Jordan running shoes hitting retailers during its original run on the shelves.

The finished product featuring bits of blue mixed in with the black and white, and those who are lucky enough to boast these in their collection will attest to how smooth and delicate the black leather really is.
