Nike Sportswear’s Mid vs High classification on the Blazer has always been a confusing point, but there did appear to be some key clues as to which is which. But with recent styles like this new Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Premium, ispa details are getting mixed and matched into less familiar forms. This first white and blue Blazer 77 brandings us the slimmer vulc sole and toewrap we expect from Mids, but instead of following the foxing all the way around, ispa opt for a High-like ‘outrigger’ reinforcement that points toward an extra vent perforation. The finished design is somewhere between the recent NSW Mids and Highs and the late ’70s Japanese-built Blazer revision for which they’re named, and you can see more angles on the first colorway after the jump before buying from retailers like Titolo.
