JORDAN OG WMNS LUCKY GREEN OG – Polyurethane Midsole Sample

Nike JORDAN OG WMNS LUCKY GREEN With Jordan 2 Midsole

A lot of the Air Jordan X meets Air Jordan Y hybrids have taken a lot of heat over the last few years, but did you know that the cross-hybridizing experiments have been going back for ages? It probably started early on in Nike’s roots – perhaps as a way to cut costs or to speed up production – and this rare JORDAN OG WMNS LUCKY GREEN prototype displays that sort of concept with the polyurethane midsole taken straight from the Air Jordan II. These likely date around the time of the JORDAN OG WMNS LUCKY GREEN-II cusp (around ’85 and ’86), but one thing to notice is that the upper logo states ‘Nike’ and not ‘Air’, but the non-Air models were given a ‘Sky’ distinction, reserved for kids sizes. Check out the full shot of this incredible vintage sample below and let us know what other Air Jordan hybrids you’d like to see.
