Nike Sportswear Originals has just unveiled a new model that looks like it could be from the early 80’s, but is actually a brand new design. The Fly Top looks like an old school basketball sneaker, but is obviously targeted at the lifestyle market that just can’t seem to get enough super-high cut sneakers at the moment. The shoe features a very simple classic design with a leather upper that sports some perforations around the toe. The most noticeable attribute has to be the ankle strap that wraps around the extra-high upper, adding some extra support and style in the process. For starters, there will be three colorways, a solid black pair with a white midsole, a white on white and a red/white version. Look for these to begin hitting Nike Sportswear Originals retailers sometime this Fall. Be sure to check out some more images of the Fly Top after the jump. Via HighSnobiety.
