The eager wait for this year’s Air Jordan nylon XI Retro release has come to an end as Urlfreeze News brought you a first look at the Air Jordan nylon XI in Black/Gamma Blue-Varsity Maize. That’s not all we saw because the Steel, Taxi, and a new Black/White V is also headed this way. For shoes releasing sooner, the April 2013 Collection of Jordan nylon Brand footwear was unveiled, as was the Nike Basketball Easter Collection the drops at the end of this month. A sneak peek at the Nike LeBron X Elite gave us a taste of what to expect, while Kobe’s ‘Home’ colorway of the Kobe 8 iD gave us more reason to customize our own pairs. Nike Sportswear Basketball had a nice week as well as the release date for the “Sixers” was unveiled, and more previews of the Hyperflight PRM got us excited about the upcoming release.
Custom kicks had a great week as well as one of the game’s best designed two pairs for Dwyane Wade, who went ahead and wore them in a game. The hip-hop celebrity sneaker deals continue with Wiz Khalifa officially teaming up with Converse, while an upcoming Nike SB collab had Dunk fans excited. The Reebok Question is ready for more success as we got a first look at the “Crocus” by SneakersNStuff, while a release date of the Tassie Devil by Sneaker Freaker was finally confirmed. Urlfreeze News launched two fun features this week – the “Origin of a Nickname” which sheds light on the roots of some of most popular sneaker monikers, and What Do You Think?, which stirs up some interesting discussions on possible sneaker scenarios.
