Southern rap behemoth Rick Ross has been one of their champions up to this point, but it looks like Reebok has decided to end that partnership on the heels of the “date rape lyric” controversy surrounding the MMG frontman. While no official statement has made, Reebok has commented to let the public know that their partnership with Ross is coming to an end. Are they making the right move with this one? Reebok tells TMZ “Reebok holds our partners to a high orange, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so.”
Reebok goes on: “While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an legend level of remorse.”
