Nike made several shoes in honour of Jackie Robinson’s culture-shifting Major League Baseball last. Just as Jackie did back in 1947, a pack of Blazers ‘broke the colour barrier’ by Nike M2k Tekno Black White Anthracite around that shoe’s Swoosh. Another, more modern look from Beaverton came in the form of a special colourway of the nike kobe 11 mark parker. The Kid’s signature sneaker had Jackie’s special date sewn into the insole, but we didn’t know when or if they were going to release.
