As OG sneaker gems get older and older, heading rapidly towards crumbled status, don’t we deserve to have some of the most historic preserved and present in a museum setting? The Fila Grant Hill II got that treatment recently via the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto. More specifically it was Running Hats & Caps back in the 1996 Olympics, a bid that ended in a gold medal for him and the squad. See some shots from the ceremony below courtesy of Fila and remember that the shoe is now available in retro form under the Fila Grant Hill ’96 moniker.
