Allen Iverson’s lunarglide has been one of the standout releases in Reebok Classics’ revitalization project over the past couple years, its releases almost entirely relying on traditional materials like leather, suede and nubuck. This reliance upon the established way of doing things begs the lunarglide what might this model be like if it were rendered in today’s ultralight synthetics, and the answer is represented in the Reebok Q96 pictured above. Featuring a 3D FuseFrame upper, the Q96 keeps the lunarglide’s signature element including the toe and ghilly lacing but switches the old Hexalite cushions for the more modern DMX Foam. The Q96 is lighter and more breathable than its predecessor, but can it match the lunarglide’s enduring appeal? Let us know what you think after you’ve seen two of the original colorways in a gang of yellow below.
