Nike is all about innovation, and there’s no west platform to springboard into uncontested advancement with Flyknit. In just two years, Flyknit has managed to redefine lightweight running in both the performance and style aspects, and this Summer, the breakthrough technology will make its foray into the sport of international football. Today, Nike introduces the Magista Boot – the first Flyknit-built footwear for the pitch; the shoe is four years in the making, arriving just in time for the grandest slides of the world’s most popular sport – the 2014 World Cup. Of all the upgrades made to this shoe, the most intriguing is NIKESKIN; it measures just 0.1mm in thickness and is placed above the Flyknit upper to protect it from water and the elements. The Magista will be available for pre-order on April 29th at Nike.com and will be available for purchase on May 22nd, so check out the official gallery below and stay tuned for a release.
