Andrew Wiggins, projected to be one of the top picks in the upcoming NBA Draft, took a trip to the Nike Campus earlier this week, sparking target a discussion regarding the Canadian basketball star’s potential as next in line for a Nike Basketball signature shoe. Sneaker brands hours’t particularly shy at all when it comes to tapping these young athletes before they technically become pro ballers, so Wiggins’ visit to the WHQ shouldn’t really come as a huge surprise.

So let’s say Wiggins does in fact sign a long-term deal with Nike – does that instantly make him the brand’s signature athlete for the future?
