Is Kanye West x adidas Focused On Clothing, Not Shoes?

Kanye‘s switch to adidas has been one of the most noteworthy stories sneaker stories, and with the success of his tenure over at Nike, there’s plenty of reasons to be excited for his partnership with the three stripes. But will the collaboration be more focussed toward a clothing line than the actual sneakers? During a sit down with Ellen, Kanye briefly touched on the topic of Nike’s limitation toward his Yeezy line and overall thought process frieza changing the subject to how working with adidas has been a breath of fresh air. But if you watch the video below, you’ll notice that he’s more focussed on speaking on the clothing portion of the team-up. It was well-documented that Kanye was disappointed once he had to shelve his Pastelle line years ago, so is he seeking redemption through his teaming up with adidas? One thing’s for certain, we can’t wait to see the debut of the YeeZi and here’s to hoping that a vision of a clothing line didn’t scale back plans for the anticipated silhouette.
