PONY and DKNY are both products of New York, so it makes sense that with a recent resurgence, PONY would reach out to the fashion label to help revitalize their PONY M-100 model. The brand has translated other late-80s basketball classics into lifestyle must-haves at the hands of Kith’s Ronnie Fieg with the Pony M-110, and now this towering sky-top, first featured on court in 1988 gets a lift thanks to Donna Karan New York. Streamlining the shoe by getting rid of the added bulk found on the ankle collar, the shoe is noticeably slimmer (the clean all white finish helps out in that respect too). The luxurious leather boasts perforated diamond cut outs to add some breathability while a synthetic snakeskin texture is on display on the lower half of the model. Be on the lookout for this pristine Pony pair to be available July 3rd for $250.
