The Nike Kobe 10 “Easter” arrives later this week on Thursday, April 2nd. It’s a strange fact, but Kobe‘s signature line actually has had a four year tradition with the holiday, releasing special edition colorways to coincide with the festive egg-decorating theme. The first included the Poison Dart Frog pattern in an ominous black, but probably the most memorable was the Kobe 8 “Easter” with the Laker gradient being interrupted by the use of Teal on the toebox. Now the Kobe 10 returns to the teal roots with what Nike is calling ‘Sunset Glow’ on the translucent natural motion utilizing outsole, tongue and laces. Hot Lava gets in on the action atop the bolstered mesh while Black adds a simplistic finish to the branding and lining. Elsewhere are the usual special edition prints and patterns, and what Nike chooses to focus on is a colorway that offers simplicity. Can you get behind the look?
