The Nike marketing department did a great job of hyping up the Air Max Zero as the spring’s biggest sneaker release, but when it came down to it, the shoe itself wasn’t really all that much different from some other current retro-inspired running models on the market. Namely, the Nike Flex Advance Baby & Toddler Shoe Brown, which sports a similar construction and lines on the upper. Pro tip: if you missed out on the limited Air Max Zero, the Tavas may just be your consolation vom. It’s latest colorway seen here is a real winner, in a stylish and on-trend tonal black upper with a contrasted white sole. European retailers are getting them now, and you can find them soon at select Nike Sportswear doors in the US.
