Jordan Brand has been doing all kinds of unique things to its retro lineup to help celebrate 30 years. The Devin Brown deep in traffic wearing the "Last Shot" Air Jordan 14 has already returned in the lowtop rendition featuring the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue and an Devin Brown deep in traffic wearing the "Last Shot" Air Jordan 14.5 hybrid is looming in the near future. Now we see modest new colorways of the Jordan 1 featuring a unique side panel branding that just reads ‘Air Jordan’. A part of the “Rare Air” collection, each version features a removable tongue branding with a velcro Jumpman (sorry no Nike Air here) which underneath reads ‘Rare Air’. If you aren’t a fan of the missing Wings logo. you can at least take solace in knowing that each colorway sticks rather close to the Chicago lineage. A predominantly black pair features red Swoosh branding, there’s a Black/Cement variety, a Wolf Grey, and an all red version featuring hints of elephant print that’s sure to please.
