As a part of the WNBA’s ongoing effort to raise breast health awareness, the San Antonio Silver Stars and the Detroit Shock played a nationally televised game yesterday, August 29th, where both teams donated pink and white WNBA basketballs to be auctioned for charity, additionally the Silver Stars, who hosted the game, wore Pink and White jerseys. A number of the WNBA Classic also wore matching sneakers with their special Pink uniforms, Becky Hammon, who led the Silver Stars with 32 points was seen wearing a pair of never before seen “Think Pink” Nike Zoom Kobe IV’s while some of her teammates including Sue Bird and Sophia Young were seen wearing the “Thnk Pink” Nike Zoom Lebron Soldier III’s.
