This winter, we will be seeing some new colorways of the RT1 High, including this intriguing version that takes some cues from the traditional workboot look. This RT1 has undeniably been influenced by the classic Timberland boot’s style, much the like the Supra Skytop that went the same route last year. The shoe sports a tan suede upper with some tonal mesh on the toe box and tongue and a section of smooth brown leather around the ankle to really hammer home the Timberland concept. A set of bright red laces xiii give the shoe some personality of its own and additional hints of red can be found on the tongue branding and the outsole. These might not offer the durability of some steel toe Tims, but the look is definitely there with some extra flavor thrown in for good measure. Be on the lookout for these to hit select Nike retailers this December.
