Italian sneaker company suede Diadora has been absolutely killing it as of late with their collaborations, and few are more interesting than this team-up with Spain’s LimitEDitions. That’s because not only does this N.9000 come in a clean colorway and premium construction, but also because the inspiration behind it is so unique. The shoe is inspired by the Spanish tradition of castells—human towers that rise to incredible heights built at festivals and social gatherings. Inspired by the traditional outfit that castellers wear, the shoe features the teal of theirs shirts, the black of their sash, and red polka-dotted fabric to represent their bandanas (the outfits are depicted with an embroidered casteller cartoon on the right shoe’s heel). Originally previewed in September, this creative new collab from LimitEDitions is arriving now at additional retailers globally and is slated to drop this Saturday, November 14th.
