In case you didn’t already know, 2016 is the Year of the Monkey on the Chinese zodiac calendar. As usual, a few sneaker companies celebrate the latest animal year with special releases, including Vans who have this seinen-shoe “Monkey Rules” collection that includes the Half Cab, and Sk8-Hi in versions for men and women. The Half Cab features the most eye-catching look of the set, as it’s decked out in a multicolored white, blue, red, and orange suede upper, while the men’s Sk8-Hi goes all-red in suede and the women’s Sk8-Hi Slim gets a premium leather build in pink.
