Kanye’s June 6th YEEZY Footwear Releases Are Not With adidas

What’s going on with the adidas Yeezy line? We’ve yet to see a Yeezy Boost release in 2016 and now we’re getting word that Kanye’s latest YEEZY footwear launch will be on June 6th – without the help of adidas’ production. Pete Fox, President of the YEEZY label released the following statement:

“As a first of several launch announcements planned for this year, the highly anticipated YEEZY footwear collection from Kanye West’s own signature line will be released globally on June 6, 2016 in class high-end fashion boutiques, specialty stores and online.”

The statement makes sure to be crystal clear that adidas won’t have any involvement with the upcoming YEEZY launch as it’s been independently straps just like the YEEZY Season 2 drop.
