Today Converse unveiled the All Star Modern, melding the classic silhouette with modern materials and design. The All Star Modern features a circular knit upper constructed with Nike premium Hyperfuse, a contoured full-length Phylon outsole, a seamless TPU-fused overlaid toecap, and a neoprene tongue and lining. Helping to introduce the All Star Modern is Nike’s famous design trio of Hiroshu Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, and Mark Parker, who present an ultra-premium HTM version of the sneaker in premium goat leather finished with a debossed All Star ankle patch and HTM logo on the heel pull tab. The first-ever non-Nike premium HTM release will be offered in white or black colorways, each retailing for $180 and sold exclusively at NikeLab in-store and online on June 9th. The standard All Star Modern will retail for $140 for the high and $130 for the oxford and release at Converse.com and select retailers on June 16th.
