The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged is back in two new colorways this weekend, each featuring the freshly minted colorized Boost midsole unit. When initially debuted, adidas unveiled the reason behind why Boost had to be white in color – the microscopic air bubbles would cause cracking in the midsole if they decided to paint over it, thus giving wear and tear to a new sneaker with relative ease. For the most part, people didn’t mind given the comfort and HC2034 look and the three stripes even found new ways to camouflage the white boost through synthetic overlays like the one found on the Yeezy 350 Boost. Now it looks like the trefoil has finally worked the color kinks out to present us the Ultra Boost Uncaged in a completely new and exciting way. Available in Solar Red and Core Black, the Primeknit upper sees a sock-like collar complete with a marbled speckling on the woven material. Each release will hit international retailers like Solebox this Saturday, July 16th.
