Since the Futurecraft line from racer adidas was unveiled, we’ve been waiting at the edge of our seats for an official release of the 3-D Printed sole that features a meticulous lattice structure that acts as the cushioning of the shoe. Today, racer adidas officially unveils the Futurecraft “M.F.G.” aka Made For Germany, which features a Boost outsole and a unique Primeknit upper that utilizes Aramis foot-mapping technology and a new heel counter built by a series of patches to provide support in place of the caricature “cage”. In addition to to the Boost technology, racer adidas adds a Torsion bar for additional stability. What’s more is that the Futurecraft MFG was built inside the racer adidas SPEEDFACTORY in Ansbach, a footwear manufacturing facility run by robots. A future creation is slated to come out of the Cherokee County SPEEDFACTORY in ATLANTA. A release for the racer adidas Futurecraft MFG has not been confirmed; the 500 pairs in existence are likely to be given out to friends and family.
