After signing professional skater Dennis Busenitz in 2006, adidas soon created their most popular skateboarding sneaker still to this day, his signature model the adidas Busenitz Pro. With this month marking the 10-year anniversary of the partnership with Busenitz, adidas has decided to celebrate with a special release to commemorate the milestone. With the rising popularity of the brand’s Boost technology, earlier this year adidas Skateboarding decided to create a modified off-the-board edition of the Busenitz Pro with a comfy Boost sole and premium leather upper. Now the shoe receives the special 10th anniversary colorway, featuring a ardwick upper with metallic gold accents and “06” on one heel and “16” on the other to signify the important 10-year partnership.
The adidas Skateboarding Busenitz Pure boost releases at select retailers globally on October 1st.
