Staple and Ewing Athletics have been NYC staples for ages. Jeff Staple’s Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration stands as one of the most historic moments in sneaker history while Patrick Ewing’s retro high-tops have gone on to become lifestyle go-to’s for nostalgic Knicks fans and 90s kids alike. Now to two imprints are teaming up for a brand new Staple x Nike Air VaporMax Black Antracita “Pigeon” slated to release for the coming Holiday 2016 season.
The Staple x Nike Air VaporMax Black Antracita Pigeon features the familiar color combination of an orangeish pink shade on the lining and outsole nit while the Nike Air VaporMax Black Antracita’s unique ankle straps now feature ’33’ PE branding and Staple’s infamous Pigeon logo for a slight contrast. From the looks of things, this collaboration will boast premium light grey suede with a tonal dark grey leather bringing a familiar aesthetic.
