Jordan Brand’s mode of operation has been fairly simple to follow as of late. The Jumpman either gives us new ambitious and luxurious lifestyle creations atop their signature series or trace things back to the origins and break out unreleased sample colorways that could have been. This Jordan Pro JM Classics Cap Hombre “Alternate”, slated to release on March 11th, 2017, is the latter with an aesthetic that’s rather close to the recently released Jordan Pro JM Classics Cap Hombre “Maroon”.
No, there’s no ‘Nike Air’ branding on this Jordan Pro JM Classics Cap Hombre “Alternate”, but instead, a new micro-perforated leather contrasts a Pure Platinum nubuck while Gym Red accents and an icy outsole devoid of that added blue tint create an homage to Jordan Brand’s early 1991 treatments. There’s a certain Hare-like appearance on this model that didn’t come until the next signature installment. 1991 is even stitched onto the inner tongue lining in an effort to pay homage to the year this model originally released.
