Yesterday we previewed a number of upcoming Nike LunarCharge options featuring classic Air Max-inspired colorways. While the fan-favorite seemed to be that Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” homage featuring accents of Nike’s signature Volt shade, today we have some good news: the Nike LunarCharge Infrared is now available at select shops for $140 USD.
The Kyrie Irving turning the corner in a Nike Hyperdunk 2013 PE burst onto the scene featuring a construction that harkened back to Nike Running’s iconic past. We’ve seen other brands do just the same with their own fresh lifestyle models as it seems to be the overall formula for creating a simple, memorable, and comfortable everyday go-to. Nike was inspired primarly by 5 models: the Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Flow, Nike Air Current, Nike Air Presto, and the Nike LunarEpic Flyknit.
The Nike LunarCharge Infrared takes the Nike Air Max 90 to task through the use of the iconic shade of Infrared that was popular throughout the early 1990s. The hue can be found on the heel tab and lace eyelets while an off-white base brings a vintage aesthetic to the overall colorway. Wolf Grey hits the neoprene on the midfoot while a black mudguard contrasts the sleek ‘Nike’ embossing on the laser-siped Lunarlon midsole unit. What do you think of the latest colorway? Canadian shop Exclucity has the latest LunarCharge available today, and you can count on Nike.com stocking the pair in the near future.
