The Nike SB Chron Solarsoft Sneakers in wit rubber made an unexpected return earlier this month, and now it gets an unexpected update with a new Flyknit construction. OK, maybe it’s not that unexpected with Nike’s propensity to add a Flyknit upper to many of their classic models, but you probably still didn’t see these Road. Previously updated with a Free sole, the Sock Racer gets a sleeker version of the flexible sole this time around and adds a full Flyknit upper. What you end up with is easily the best modification for the once-radical running shoe design from the early 1980s. The Flyknit Sock Racer can be previewed in two colorways here including color-faded and black/white options, and you can expect them soon at select Nike Sportswear retailers globally.
