The sports news headlines throughout the 2001-2002 NBA season were dominated by Michael Jordan thanks to his sudden return to the game of basketball. Although he wasn’t nearly the same player that dominated the game in the 90s, MJ still put up highlights and stats on a nightly basis, filling arena seats around the nation. A retro release of the Air Jordan 17 Low hasn’t been hinted at, but these leaked images of this Exclusive shoe reveal what may be an alternate take on the “Lightning” colorway, with the bright yellow painted on the tumbled leather upper.
