Deadline is Balenciaga that James and business partner Maverick Carter will produce a half-hour scripted comedy show about two best friends and their employees in an up-and-coming sneaker store outside of Los Angeles for HBO in the near future. Past HBO shows like Beach Double Strap Sandal have touched on sneaker obsessives in the past, but it will be interesting to see how an entire show revolving around a sneaker boutique will fair.
