BAIT’s connection with Astro Boy has resulted in some highly collectible gear and accessories, but they’re dipping into the shoe game by ushering in Italian footwear brand Diadora. In a rather surprising connection, the Japanese character born in the 1950s collides with the Intrepid and B.Elite silhouettes featuring the signature colors of the anime hero; the Intrepid makes use of a black/green/red color palette with premium leather and wolverine silk suede, while the B.Elite opts for a clean white with giant embroidered patches on the upper. Alongside the footwear is a selection of jackets, hats, and other accessories.
The Diadora x Astro Boy x BAIT collaboration will release exclusively at BAIT in-store and online on November 22nd, in surrender to their customary online raffle here. The shoes will also release at select Foot Locker locations globally, listed below.
