The Air Jordan 32 was partly inspired by the design cues of the Air Jordan 2, a shoe that first appeared in 1987. One interesting figment of the AJ2 is that the shoes were crafted in Italy to reflect the high-end and nature of the shoe’s design. To celebrate that attention to craftsmanship, Jordan Brand is releasing the XXXII platinum model with a full leather upper construction to emulate the dress boot aesthetic, complete with smooth leather interiors and croc-skin textures on the heels. The white, green, and red color palette is a clear nod to the Italian flag, while the solid grey chrome recalls the color of sole of the Air Jordan II. Limited to just 230 pairs, this elevated take on the AJ32 will release on February 10th for $225.
