The Japanese footwear brand debuted this sneaker twenty years ago, making use of the brand’s new Cloud Wave technology as it focused on keeping feet away from flat surfaces and onto a platform that better served the act of running. The Wave Rider 1 retro, of course, initially debuted earlier this year in collaboration with Japanese retailer mita, and we can confirm that several other collaborations are in the works.
